It is basically an Elvish dagger or knife which has been forged in Gondolin in the First Age. It was used by Frodo Baggins during his noble quest to Mordor. United Cutlery has created the official licensed reproduction of this sword from the epic Lord of the Rings.
UC Sting Sword has an overall measurement of 22inch. The sword has a 15inch blade. It has been constructed from AUS-6 stainless steel. The sword has an Elven Wine design. It has a metal finish and a solid metal pommel and guard.

The sword is also has a sleek look and is amazing to hold. The blade and the cross guard have been engraved with runes of Sindarin Elven language. The runes means “Sting is my name, I am the spiders bane”.
The sword has a wooden display along with silk green graphic and wood grain finish. United Cutlery has meticulously reproduced the prop, making use of the finest craftsmanship and high grade materials. The sword fits perfectly my hand.
Sting can be mounted on the wall with the help of the two steel posts. United Cutlery also offers a scabbard for the sword. This scabbard is available separately for sale. It is a pointy and heavy sword. The sharpness of the sword is pretty impressive. However, the blade comes with a false edge. The silver leaf-life pattern over the handle appears like it has just been painted. This part of the sword could have been to look better. This sword has a hollow ground shape to it.
This sword is a good collective item for all the LOTR fans out there. It can also make an excellent addition for anybody who loves collecting replica swords.
